New York

The densest concentration of tech, media and finance events on the planet.

New York is the obvious choice when a team is spread across the US and Europe: two of the world's busiest transatlantic airports, a subway that runs all night and more meeting space per block than anywhere else. Teams usually base themselves in SoHo or the Flatiron district for walkable hotels and studios, or across the river in Dumbo — Brooklyn's tech corridor — for loft venues with a Manhattan skyline out the window.

The calendar never really stops. NY Tech Week, a deep bench of AI, JavaScript and product conferences and the city's media and finance summits mean there is almost always an event worth building an offsite around. Between sessions the city does the work for you: rooftop dinners, the High Line, Broadway, MoMA and a food scene that covers every budget and every dietary requirement your team can throw at it.

JFK, Newark and LaGuardia put New York within reach of practically anywhere, and the city is at its best in late spring and early autumn — warm, clear and made for walking between venues.
